Biography

 

A Los Angeles native, Mina Ortega has been a professional choreographer and dance instructor for the last 20 years. Mina is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Pro Action Dance, specializing in training professional dance teams in the United States, Europe, and Japan. In her role as Artistic Director, she leads the choreography team and is the primary liaison with the NBA, NFL, and the other dance team directors that attend.  She’s choreographed for teams such as Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers, Portland Trailblazers, Atlanta Hawks, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers and many more. Mina is currently in her 15th season as the Director for the Trojan Dance Force at the University of Southern California, and also served as the Dance Program Director for US Spiritleaders.
